About Us
The Antique Village was founded by Ian and Clive—two seasoned professionals with decades of experience in the global antiques trade. United by a shared vision, they set out to create one of the UK’s premier destinations for antiques, vintage finds, and retro treasures. Their goal? To craft a truly unique retail experience—an inspiring, ever-evolving space that brings together over 100 carefully curated concessions. Here, expert dealers and talented artisans showcase exceptional collections of furniture, home décor, jewellery, gifts, and one-of-a-kind curiosities.

Established in 2019, The Antique Village is set on the site of a former 4-acre, 40,000 sq ft cider factory. Much of the building's original charm has been preserved and lovingly restored using reclaimed materials discovered onsite. The result is a character-rich environment that blends heritage with creativity and a sense of community.

Since opening, The Antique Village has grown into a thriving emporium. The wide-ranging offerings include everything from fine art, sculpture, and ceramics to period furniture, books, collectibles, and historical memorabilia. With such a diverse mix, there’s always something new to explore.

But The Antique Village is more than just a shopping destination. Ian and Clive’s vision extends to celebrating local craftsmanship. The site is also home to skilled restorers, artists, and independent makers, as well as an architectural salvage expert and a local plantsman offering seasonal greenery and garden charm.

Drawing on years of experience in the film, tv and graphic design industries as well as property development, he leads with innovation and a keen eye for detail. Ian not only drives the creative direction of The Antique Village, but also designs and implements practical, forward-thinking solutions that continually enhance the overall experience for customers and concession holders alike.

A driving force behind The Antique Village, Clive brings energy and ingenuity that help realise the vision. With a remarkable background spanning decades as a dealer, restorer, engineer, and television presenter, he brings a rare combination of hands-on expertise and showmanship to everything he does.
